Terms of service

These terms cover fairandsquare.studio, the games Fair & Square Studio LLC ("we", "us") publishes, and the studio tools we run to manage our own social media channels. By using any of them you agree to these terms. Each game may add its own rules inside the app; where they differ, the game's rules win for that game.

Fair play

Our games are built around one promise: no pay-to-win, no bots in ranked, no cheating. You agree not to use exploits, automation, modified clients, multiple accounts to gain an edge, or anything else that gives you an advantage other players cannot get by playing. We may suspend or close accounts that break this, and we may void results from matches affected by it.

Your account and content

You are responsible for what happens on your account and for keeping its login private. Anything you post in a game (names, messages, avatars) must be yours to post and must not be abusive, illegal or aimed at other players. We may remove content and close accounts that cross that line.

Purchases

Purchases in our games go through the app store you installed the game from and follow that store's refund rules. Virtual items have no cash value and cannot be transferred or exchanged outside the game.

Studio tools connected to YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and Facebook

Fair & Square Social is an internal tool that reads statistics for the studio's own channels and publishes the studio's own posts to them through the platforms' official APIs, with the channel owner's consent and only after the owner approves each post. It is used only by the studio, only on accounts the studio controls. Use of that data is described in our privacy policy. Its YouTube features use YouTube API Services: using them means agreeing to the YouTube Terms of Service (see also the Google Privacy Policy and the Google API Services User Data Policy). Its TikTok features are subject to the TikTok Terms of Service, and its Instagram and Facebook features to Meta's Terms.

Our stuff

The games, their names, artwork, code and this website belong to Fair & Square Studio LLC or its licensors. You may play and enjoy them; you may not copy, sell or redistribute them.

No warranty, limited liability

The website, games and tools are provided as they are. We work hard to keep them running and fair, but we do not promise they will always be available or free of mistakes. To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim connected to them is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing here limits rights that consumer law gives you and that cannot be waived.

Changes and ending things

We may update these terms; if a change matters, the date at the top moves and we describe the change here. You can stop using our games and tools at any time. We may end or suspend access where these terms are broken.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict of law rules, unless the consumer law of your country requires otherwise.
